Please read this...:) Those who have knew me, those who have seen me riding effortless in green Crupi BMX outfit must say, that they still know me and I am alive, Artis Zentins. There have been few years that I have not been on the international BMX arena. Why? – I fell, I could not believe it what I saw first 10 minutes after my crash, because my lower left leg (shin) was not able to move and it had flexed right, not back. It was out of its place. The knee joint capsula was broken. Decussate cords, lateral cord and lateral nerve collapsed as well. It happened on 2009/03/03. I have had two operations, still 3 have to be done. I can walk, make some easy jumps, but the knee stays in its place only because of muscles around it, that is why I am staying active every day, but always under a tight safety precaution. After more 3 operations I will have chance to get back on the track, back on sport, back in BMX. I will need to wear a special thing on my lower left leg (shin) for stability and safety. I am in a situation that I come to you for asking help with the money for the first 2 operations: 1) putting the Decussate Cord implants and 2) putting 2 metal plates with 8 screws for the bones in local knee region, because they are not in the right place. That is all, that I can tell you now, but my second operation could be after a year, when I will have my first operation. I need 5000 Euros in total for the first 2 operations. There is no more insurance money, no compensation and there has not left my money too. Well, it is not that much, but imagine: I was sponsored, I was paid from the Latvian BMX Federation and then... Everything stopped at the same time when I crashed. I lost my life, which I have been built for 16 years. Please make a donation for my operations, if possible.
