2010 BMX HIGH - LEVEL TRAINING Autor: Administrator (marek.psenicka@centrum.cz), Téma: News BMX, Source: UCI Vydáno dne 03. 02. 2010 (2723 přečtení) Dear President, With the objective of continuing the development of all Olympic disciplines and following the great success of BMX at the Bejing Olympics, the UCI and the CMC have decided to organize for the fifth consecutive year a hihg-level training camp in preparation for the World Championships that will be held in South Africa from 29th of July to 1st of August 2010. In order to prepare your athletes and future champions in the best environment, the camp will be conducted under the responsibiliti of Thomas Allier. Thomas Allier who was an elite rider (2x BMX World Champion) has been hired by the CMC as head coach of the discipline. His experience competing at the higest level, combined with his coaching skills will allow your athletes to progress effectively in preparation for the World Championship... During this camp, which runs: from 15th of March 2010 to 31st of July 2010 riders will also have the opportunity to participate in several competitions, such as rounds of the European Cup and selected rounds of the Super-cross. Regarding the costs of training, the WCC is ready to cover part of the expanses but we would like to know if your National Federation, Government, National Olympic Committee, sponzors or others might be willing to support the development of your riders in covering the remaining part of the costs. We kindly ask you to keep us informed on this matter. If you agree with the above mentioned conditions and should you wish to send one or two riders to attend the training, please complete and send back the enclosed document no later than 20th of February 2010, as the number of places is limited. When confirming the possible participation of your cantidate(s) for this training, we will give you more details.
