Ladies and Gentlemen Here with I like to inform you about some changes and upgrades after last meeting of UEC BMC Commission Concerning the European Championships and Cahier des Charges for the Organizer 2007 as follow:

--Photo Finish is mandatory for all Rounds of European Championship.

--The same Pro Gate voice box and 4 lights are compulsory for all rounds of European Championships.

--UEC Commission will provide the same Voice box, Lights, Public Screen and Photo Finish for all rounds of European Championships. Costs for all inclusive 1000€ per event. Please contact René Nicolas (Administrator) concerning this matter, he will be able to give you all necessarily info which you need.

--Full and how possible safety gate and Starting surface for the riders have to be made of grill profile and so not slippery by wet weather. This will be most impotent point by truck control.

--UEC Truck inspector will visit and check all facilities latest 4 weeks before race. At this time organizer have to present finished Starting hill completly.

--Deposit of 2000€ have to be paid to UEC direct, organizer will get his money beck only by following to the rules and Cahier des Charges.

--Entrée fee will rise from 1-4 € and so as well price money for the riders and partly organizer.

--For the next season we will adapt all Indoor Classes to European Championship Classes.

--At least 5 rider have to be entered to consist the class.

--By missing motos (UCI Rules E.3c) When the riders is missing first or second Moto will be recorded with CR and receive two points more than number of riders at those series and can go to the next sage, but when the riders is missing thread moto will be recorded with DNS and is automathikly disquolificated for the next stage.

--Shot pants and sleeves stay NOT allowed at European Championships.

--For 2007 4 event both rounds and two event (Belgium and Czech Rep.) Saturday rounds will count for the World ranking.

--Moto sheets for the first round European Championships will be listed according European Indoor overall standing season 2006/7.

--From now late entrée will be accepted as well at Final rounds. (Doubling of entrée fee)

--Lateral Plate is mandatory for all riders.

--UCI Permanent Number for the Elite classes is Compulsory, and all Federations should ask UCI directly for the permanent number for the riders.

--In the future is no Registration fee for the National teams. Each registrated National Team have right for at least 6x3 meter tent place and 4 official cards (For Team Chef, Doctor, Mechanic and Physio).

--Place and official’s card for the teams will be provided to the teams only when they take a part and National Team Championships. (More info will follow)

--For the Nat. Team Championship will count each Saturday race, only Elite and junior Classes.
Regulation modus will be determinate by the next meeting with Team Chefs at Geneva or Zwolle (TBC) This concerning Teams is not finally rule.

--Organizer has right to cash till 100€ (not allowed more) for the tent place at Team Classes, National and Trade Team.

--As for the Trade teams, we had some troubles last season, and according to this experience UEC Commission decided following:

--At first all Registrated Trade Teams for the 2006 which didn`t pay Registration fee, before they could be entered for 2007 have to pay penalty of double entrée fee (300€).

--Each Trade Team has to make registration for 2007 to UEC Commission at least 6 weeks before the first round at Belgium.

-- Trade Team has right for at least 6x3 meter tent place, 4 officials Card (For the Team Chef, Doctor, Mechanic and Phisyo)

--It is compulsory for each Trade Team to take partipation at trade Team Championship (no Challenger) with at least 4 riders.

-- Championship Modus should to be created by Team Chef by the next meeting. (Where TBC)

-- Organizer may not allowed no entered teams to place at least 100 meter to the truck and not at team area or in front of team area, otherwise they have to pay penalty of 300€ per placed not entered team.

-- However possible Team area should be closed to the truck and on dry surface. We know this will not be possible everywhere.

-- Annually, registration fee for the Trade Teams is 500€, Entrée fee for the Championship should be determinate by team Chef Meeting.

-- Sell shops are not allowed at team area.

-- Awards at all UEC rounds have to be organized immediately after the last race and only with Three riders at podium. Awards for the riders from 4th till 8th place immediately after crossing finish line.

-- UEC BMX Commission will construct a voluntary official’s pool for the truck and administration. We will be very pleased when you have somebody to do this to entrée them for the truck to Mr. Stef Kerkhof NL, and for the administration to Mr. René Nicolas Fr. directly.

Dear Friends
UEC is very pleased for the large number of bids to organize rounds of European Championships till now, and look forward for large number of bids as well for the next season 2008/9.

1.European Championship 2008 will start with first rounds at the end of 2007 and placed Indoor for the first 8 rounds (4 events),and 4 rounds outdoor with final at Germany from 1st till 4th of May 2008.

2. We look forward as well for your bid offer for the final 2009 which is placed at second weekend 0f July 2009.

After January meeting of UEC BMX Commission we will inform you who will be organizer of European Championship rounds 2008 and finals 2009.
