Inspection visit of the venue for the 2006 UCI BMX World Championships Autor: Administrator (marek.psenicka@centrum.cz), Téma: News BMX, Source: www.uci.ch Vydáno dne 19. 12. 2005 (2636 přečtení) Inspection visit of the venue for the 2006 UCI BMX World Championships Inspection visit of the venue for the 2006 UCI BMX World ChampionshipsA UCI delegation made up of Mrs Alice Van Gilst, Events Coordinator - BMX and Mr Johan Lindström, Sports Coordinator – BMX will travel to Săo Paulo, Brazil, from 13th to 17th February 2006 for an inspection visit of the new venue for the next UCI BMX World Championships.Initially, these were planned to be held in Rio de Janeiro. The switching of the event to Săo Paulo has meant another visit by UCI representatives. On this occasion they will meet with Messrs José Luiz Vasconcellos, President of the Brazilian Cycling Federation and Francisco Fernando Etchewerry Silveira, President of the Brazilian BMX Federation, and will be given information on the progress of the construction project of the BMX track as well as on all logistic elements of the event. It should be remembered that Brazil already organised the UCI BMX World Championships in 2003, in Paulinia. |
